JTEG periodically conducts virtual technology forums that provide opportunities for the DOD maintenance community to exchange information and share ideas. The forums feature a different maintenance topic each month and are open to the public. The topics generally fall into one of three areas:
- technology focus areas which feature a specific maintenance capability such as nondestructive inspection (NDI), or advanced wiring inspection
- maintenance and sustainment processes such as better ways to adopt new capabilities, or workforce development
- organizational perspectives which describe maintenance capabilities and initiatives at specific DOD maintenance depots or research centers.
