2017 CTMA Partners’ Meeting (3-5 April): JTEG Principals are encouraged to attend this meeting at Hill, AFB, UT. The 1st day event will be a Hill AFB Technology Showcase, followed by speakers, panels, and breakout sessions over the next 2 days. The final day will include a JTEG Panel and conclude with the CTMA Technology Competition where finalists are selected by the JTEG Principals. Debbie & Greg are looking at scheduling a JTEG Principals’ face-to-face meeting during the 3 days.

Discussion of Sustainment Technology Policy and the Sustainment Technology Program (STP): Greg remarked that he continues to socialize the Sustainment Technology Policy and program within the pentagon, where audiences have been receptive, though non-committal at this time. He would like to “dig up” last years’ draft policy, make necessary format changes, and review it with the JTEG before socializing the policy. A meeting to discuss will be scheduled for early February.
Tom Naguy mentioned that the USAF STP system is in place, however they have no 2017 funding in place. He also stated that Steve Morani, a former JTEG JCS J4 Principal, is starting this week as his new supervisor.
Action Items:
- Contact potential speakers identified above for the Jan 31st and Feb 28th JTEG forums and confirm their participation. (Select JTEG members)
- Look at scheduling a JTEG Principals’ Panel and a face-to-face meeting during the CTMA Partners’ Meeting no scheduled for 3-5 April. (Debbie & Greg).
- Set up a teleconference for the JTEG Principals & Reps to discuss the STP. Tentatively planned for 1 Feb during our next JTEG Principals’ meeting . (LMI)
