| Description | As an internationally recognized fluids expert, Cargill supplies Envirotemp™ dielectric fluid, both natural and synthetic esters, to utilities as well as power and distribution transformer manufacturers around the world. Envirotemp™ FR3™ fluid is made from renewable vegetable oils that provides: • Increased transformer reliability • Improved fire safety (twice the flash and fire points as mineral oil) • Extended transformer insulation life (5-8x longer than mineral oil) • Increased overload capacity (130°C hot spot vs 110°C hot spot for mineral oil) • Environmental benefits including biodegradable, non-toxic and carbon neutral (according to Building Environmental and Economic Sustainability (BEES) lifecycle analysis |
