| Description | A computed radiographic capability that would be able to examine/inspect welds of all types and complex assemblies (examples; engines, differentials, electronic components, and identify cracks, and excessive wear) without disassembly.
Benefits would include reduced repair time, no labor costs for disassembly/reassembly, no cost for replacement for serviceable parts, no opportunity to damage original parts, no potential to damage new parts during handling or assembly, no opportunity for improper installation of new parts, no potential for initial run-in failure. |
