JTEG Technology Idea Submission Review & Responses
Technology Idea Review
Each month the JTEG Principals will meet to review technology ideas submitted through the JTEG website. Upon completion of the review, one of four decisions will be made:
- Post the technology to the website. – (The JTEG may request the submitter brief at a future JTEG teleconference)
- Post the technology and pursue it as a joint JTEG project. – The sponsoring JTEG Principal (or representative) will follow-up with the submitter to develop any products that may be needed to pursue available opportunities.
- Decline posting the technology. – The submitted technology doesn’t align with the JTEG’s objectives. This could be due to a number of reasons, some examples include: the technology readiness level is not mature enough, the proposed capability does not improve maintenance effectiveness or efficiency, or the technology does not meet a current or projected need.
- Request more information from the submitter. – The JTEG Principals’ review of the technology submission may result in requests for more information prior to making a decision. In this case, the sponsoring JTEG Principal will contact the submitter and request the appropriate information.
Automated Responses:
